The handout photo released 20 December 2007 by Swiss based Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) Switzerland and taken 12 December 2007 shows a doctor inspecting a patient the day after the outbreak declaration by the Ugandan Ministry of Health. The first MSF team arrived on 02 December and began its activities in Bundibugyo the next day. The minister urged residents of Bundibugyo, a western Ugandan district that has been devastated by an Ebola outbreak, to encourage their eastern DRC neighbours to cross over for help.
